Recycling Medical Supplies For Global Health

While Roper Hospital RN Beth Beaty uses discard medical supplies to make beautiful mosaic-style art, another healthcare professional, Elizabeth McLellan, RN, MPH, began collecting discarded medical supplies in her home while working as a nursing supervisor at Maine Medical Center.

That was 2007.

In 2009, with her house bursting at the seams with medical supplies, she founded Partners for World Health and began shipping the supplies to countries in need around the world.
