Since 1789, The Medical Society of South Carolina has served as the foremost association of physicians dedicated to pioneering advances in our region's healthcare.
Through our partnership with the Roper St. Francis Healthcare System, we direct resources to support health and wellness-related charitable programs and organizations within the tri-county area. In addition, we direct resources and funds to support capital projects that continue the Roper St. Francis tradition of healing all people with compassion and excellence.
250 Years & Counting - For The Good of All
Through epidemics of yellow fever, cholera and small pox. Through war, earthquake, hurricanes and the great Charleston fire. Through HMOs, managed care and re-imagined healthcare systems. What has remained constant is the Medical Society of South Carolina's resolve to pioneer, provide and protect the health of our community's people - through the Roper St. Francis Healthcare System ' and the physicians who work for the greater good.
