RHFH Wins Quality Improvement Award

The American College of Surgeons National Surgical Quality Improvement Program has awarded Roper St. Francis Hospital with an award for achieving “Meritorious” status with regard to their composite quality score in the outcome areas of:

  • Mortality
  • DVT/PE
  • Cardiac
  • Respiratory (pneumonia)
  • Unplanned Intubation
  • Ventilator > 48 hours
  • Renal Failure
  • SSI
  • UTI

for ALL surgery cases for the performance period of January 1, 2012 – December 31, 2012.

This award was sponsored by the American College of Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons’ National Surgical Quality Improvement Program.
